French Innovative EDA startups and two major R&D centers have decided to join their forces for the development of a comprehensive and innovative solution to handle process variability for sub-28nm technologies.
Led by InfiniScale, a leader of a process variability management solution, and OASIC, a provider of a unique solution for Layout-level yield optimization, the EDA industrial consortium will be supported by another startup, Pyxalis and two major R&D centers CEA-LETI and IMEP-LAHC, to validate the intended solution on different technologies and applications. The consortium aims at the development of a unique EDA flow for process variability management from design level to lithography one.
French Micro and nanotechnology competition center MINALOGIC, OSEO, FUI (Fonds Unique d’Investissement) and Grenoble region have decided to support this ambitious national project with a global budget of about $6,7M.
