The Team
Firas MOHAMED - President and CEO
Founder, President of the board and CEO. Firas is an EDA industry pioneer who gained technical experience supporting product development and product management at major EDA suppliers. Guided by his love for applied mathematics developed during his PhD years in France combined with good experience at Mentor Graphics where he was responsible of many simulation and optimization environments, Firas took over CAD core technology development department MEMSCAP S.A for some years. His entrepreneurial spirit and energy lead to the creation of Infiniscale in 2005. Goal was to develop a technology, a team to be successful on the highly competitive EDA market which he did with great success. Firas holds computer science engineer degree from HIAST, the higher institute of applied sciences and technology of Damascus and a PhD in Microelectronics from INPG, the national polytechnic institute of Grenoble in France.
Takis BREYIANNIS - Executive Director and COO
Co-Founder, member of the board and Chief Operating Officier. Prior to joining Infiniscale, he was a financial and strategic marketing consultant for several start-up companies, including iRoC technologies (IC soft Error). Having graduated from Grenoble University with an M.S degree in finance, he then went onto earn his B.S. degree in Economy and Business Administration, as well as receiving an undergraduate diploma in law studies.
Yoann COURANT - R&D Director
Yoann joined Infiniscale core technology team in 2005 as manager of the TechModeler product and is currently the R&D director of the company. He was graduated from applied mathematics and computing science of the ENSIMAG school of Grenoble university. He previously worked at the Leibniz laboratory for a PhD thesis in computer science in the field of artificial intelligence, statistical physics and dynamic systems. Yoann holds a WW patent and has written many technical papers and research reports on behavioral modeling and model-based solutions.
Christian CAILLON, Senior Account Manager
From LETI Labs to STMicroelectronics and then ST-Ericsson, Christian gained a huge experience in the domain of Analog/AMS/RF design, new technologies and EDA flows. He operated during several decades as senior manager within a multi-national & multi-cultural environment. Prior to joining Infiniscale, Christian worked for STMicroelectronics and ST-Ericsson (1987-2005) as R&D Director in ASIC design and then worldwide director for wireless chipsets developments. In 2005 he took over the Tools & Methods operations for STMicroelectronics and then ST-Ericsson wireless divisions. He has been involved in several transversal activities such as EDA strategic committee Director for ST-Ericsson, member of IT steering committee for ST-Ericssson. He was also involved in major Merge & Acquisition processes for STMicroelectronics or ST-Ericsson. Christian holds an engineering degree from «Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers» in Paris, is the owner of several patents and made several publications on switched analog techniques.
